"BYLANES,"
GORWAY ROAD,
WALSALL.
Feby 23rd 1925
To The Women Electors of Walsall
My husband is asking again for the support so generously accorded him at the General Election. The reason for this renewed appeal he has fully explained in his election address. I know you sympathize not only with us, but with all concerned, & regret that so small a thing should be taken advantage of by our opponents to force another contest.
We Women, above all things, desire a peaceful & steady government - we know only too well what Strikes & Revolution mean to the Women & Children of the country.
Every vote given to my husband is a vote of confidence in the present government, which means Unity, Prosperity & Security for the Nation
Yours sincerely
Lilly S. Preston.
