Dear Mr. Tewson.
SPANISH FUND.
With all the agitation which is going on about the question of 'Food for Spain', and with the money we have granted towards that purpose. I am wondering what steps you are taking to see that food is sent to Spain, now it is wanted so much.
As you will know we made an appeal to our Branches for further collections, and I am being asked what the T.U.C. is doing in connection with the matter, and whether food is actually being sent to Spain.
Yours sincerely,
Ernest Bevin
GENERAL SECRETARY.
