Some days ago I sent you a draft Appeal and an explanatory memorandum on the Appeal of the National Committee of Spanish Women for support for their schemes for colonies for orphaned refugee children.
I appreciate that the events of the last week have tended to distract attention from Spain but the need remains urgent and we are anxious to launch our appeal as soon as possible. Signatories to date include :
