SCOTTISH TRADES COUNCILS' FOOD SHIP FOR SPAIN.
I have your letter of the 8th instant on the above subject in which you very clearly set out the basis on which the Joint Committee is to work in Scotland.
It does seem that the necessary safeguards have been secured. Although I am still doubtful in regard to sufficient money being obtained to send a food ship, I think the scheme is on the whole fairly water-tight.
