The Trades Union Congress,
We beg to make further reference to the goods we are supplying on your account for Spain, and in connection with the Sandals, our Works write as follows -
" You may rest assured that you will have no complaint with regard to the chafing of heels, as we are making huge quantities of these particular Sandals, and do not get any complaints whatever in this direction. We do know however, that it is a fault with some manufacturers' Sandals, but as previously stated you may rest assured you will have no cause for complaints of this nature. At the same time, we are passing your suggestion on to the Works for their attention."
When we hear from the Works we will write you further.
You will be pleased to hear that we are arranging shipment of the sandals and socks by the s.s. "C.W.S. Progress" from Garston to Rouen on Thursday the 7th inst.
