Referring to your letter of the 8th instant of the above matter, I am glad to note that you feel that where possible your local Secretaries will be prepared to give advice to local Trades Council Secretaries in regard to the administration of relief.
In connection with the last paragraph of your letter, the accounts which you sent have now been examined by our Finance Department, and I have pleasure in enclosing herewith a checue for £614.3.9., in accordance with our arrangement.
I would again like to express our appreciation of all the help which you and your officers have given in this matter.
