I am in receipt of your letter of the 17th instant and desire to thank your Executive Committee very much indeed for their very generous donation to the International Solidarity Fund on behalf of the Spanish Seamen. The responses which your Union has made to the various appeals sent out is really most gratifying.
I note that the cheque for £500 will be sent to us during the course of next week.
