Dear Lord Halifax,
TRADE UNION LEADERS IN SPAIN.
I have duly received your letter of the 8th instant and thank you sincerely for your kind and prompt attention to the case of Ricardo Zabalza and the Trade Union leaders in Spain.
I note your observations, and appreciate that the present moment is not a propitious one for us. However, I feel sure that the Spanish Government will not be insensible to any influence you exercise.
I am very grateful to you for your help.
Yours faithfully,
General Secretary.
