Dear Sir,
I am taking the liberty of writing this letter and of offering my service, through you, to your Government or to the Admiralty, as a ship engineer. In case my work might be of any use to you, I am at your entire disposal and ready to under take - in relation to me profession - any service which may be ordered to me.
I have been, while the Spanish war was on, a merchant ship engineer, and afterwards I was employed in the English steamer "Transit" in time charter by the Spanish Government.
It is my pleasure to express my gratitude to England, for the great consideration taken with the Spanish refugees and at the same time work for the Democratic and Anti-facist countries.
