4th April, 1938,
Sent to Messrs, Elvin, Edwards, Holmes, Marchbank, Kean, Wolstencroft, and Conley.
Dear Mr.
DEPUTATION TO FOREIGN MINSTER.
With reference to the proposed deputation to Lord Halifax about which I wrote to you on Friday, 1st April, he has intimated to-day that he will receive a small deputation from the General Council at the Foreign Office on Wednesday afternoon, 6th April at 4.30 p.m.
I shall be much obliged therefore, if you would make arrangements to attend.
I think a preliminary meeting should be held, and suggest that we might meet at the above offices at 4 o'clock before going to the Foreign Office.
Yours faithfully,
WALTER CITRINE,
General Secretary.
