Sir Walter Citrine,
Trades Union Congress
Transport House,
Smith Square,
Westminster, S.W.1.
De ar Comrade,
I enclose a declaration [see Docs] on the crisis in Spain which has been adopted by the International Bureau for Revolutionary Socialist Unity to which our Party is affiliated.
I would draw your attention particularly to the paragraphs dealing with action to prevent the supply of airplanes and other materials to the Spanish fascists, and express the hope that the Trades Union Congress may be able to take action on the lines proposed.
Yours fraternally,
Fenner Brockway
Secretary.
