General Secretary,
Trades Union Congress, Transport House, Smith Square, LONDON.
Sir,
Under direction I am writing to ask if you will be good enough to advise us as to whether the Trade Union Movement in England is taking any action towards assisting the workers in Spain.
In this country we feel something should be done in this direction, but would first like to ascertain the views of the British Trade Union Movewent, and to find out what means there are of getting into touch with the Spanish Workers.
If you will be good enough to supply the above information we will be greatly obliged.
Under separate cover I am forwarding a copy of the first issue of our Journal.
I am,
Yours faithfully
R. Stuart
