Mr Walter Citrine, LONDON.
Dear Comrade Citrine,
I find in a paper this morning the report of a meeting held in Madrid by the Spanish National Trade Union Centre which decided to ask the IFTU to convene a special meeting of the General Council, "to which all Trade Union and political international organisation which are fighting against Fascism should be invited".
I Should say that up till now, we have not received any official intimation of this request, but I thought it might be useful to inform you of the report.
