Danger of Political Persecution in Spain.
I received your letter of the 29th July yesterday, and I understand you have sent a similar letter to Mr. Middleton, of the Labour Party.
I have already read the memorandum, but it requires a good deal of careful thought to determine which is the most suitable action to be taken.
I will think the matter over and consult with my colleagues as to what can be done.
