CONFERENCE APRIL 9th.
Thank you for your letter of yesterday's date regarding the conference which is now to be held on the 9th April and asking whether the Trades Union Congress will be represented.
I am very sorry, but owing to the fact that both Mr. Tewson and myself will be away during the whole of that week-end attending week-end schools, it will not be possible for either of us to be present, so there will, therefore, be no representative of the General Council in attendance.
