Dear Sir,
Spanish Medical aid C'tee and Ambulances.
In accordance with our previous interviews and this morning's conversation on the telephone, I beg to place with you an order as follows:-
(1) One Gas Ambulance on a 2-Ton Bedford Chassis
with specifications as agreed upon verbally with you and partially submitted in writing to you.
(2) One Surgical Ambulance, also on a 2-Ton Bedford
Chassis, with specifications as verbally agreed on and notified to you, and as partially submitted in writing to you.
I will be glad if you will place these orders immediately, as the Ambulances are wanted, on the instructions of the Committee, as early as possible for service in Spain.
I have been instructed by the Committee to get into touch with Mr. Hunt as early as possible, and I shall communicate with you later if he, having experience of the ambulance work in Spain, supplies me with any details which would affect the specifications in any way. Mr. Hunt appeared before the Committee last night and gave the result of his experiences in Spain, and as a result I have to-day sent you another letter cancelling the order for the Ambulance on a Dennis Chassis, but I am submitting this alternate order with your firm as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully,
