The attached is the list as drawn up for the emigration; there may be one or two omissions, which could only be checked by going through all receipts.
P against the name in the left-hand margin indicates present, O left town or in land employment. In addition to the list, as not indicating willingness to emigrate, there are two captains at Bristol, one captain and two engineers in London.
There are of course a number of other men in the country who are spending their 'pay-off', and of whom we have no record.
