Dear Comrade Schevenels,
RAY COX MEMORIAL.
On 3rd August, 1937, we wrote to you about an enquiry we had received from the Southampton Trades Council in regard to a memorial which it was proposed to arrange for when purchasing, with the amount they had granted, an anaesthetic apparatus. A plate was to be affixed to this, indicating that the apparatus was in memory of the late Ray Cox.
You were away in Spain at the time, and Comrade Stolz wrote to us the next day stating that he would write to you about the matter.
Have you been able to obtain this photograph? We have received another reminder from the Council, and should like to be able to send it to them.
Yours faithfully,
General Secretary.
