UNEMPLOYMENT! Both Evan Williams (who openly faced the Coal Commission with the bankruptcy of the Mining Industry under Capitalist mis-management) and Lord Londonderry, (who is now endeavouring to persuade the Coal Owners that, to accept the Miners' Federations' demand for NATIONAL agreements would be disastrous for them) are agreed that the Industry under Capitalist Control - with reduced wages - must dispense with at least 300,000 men immediately. There are at least 300000 Miners at present unemployed!
