Transcript	Our Ref: HVT/FC/173. 30th October, 1936. Dr. C. Brook, The Spanish Medical Aid Committee, 24, New Oxford Street, W.C.1. Dear Dr. Brook, SPANISH MEDICAL UNIT. A letter was ready for post on Monday last informing you that in the event of a second unit going to Spain the International Committee in charge of the International Solidarity Fund had agreed to render financial assistance. I ascertained, however, that certain difficulties had been encountered and that arrangements for the medical personnel to leave had been cancelled. Perhaps you will let me have a report in due course as to the actual position. Yours sincerely, Joint Secretary.
