Dr. C. Brook,
The Spanish Medical Aid Committee,
24, New Oxford Street, W.C.1.
Dear Dr. Brook,
BRITISH MEDICAL UNIT.
Referring to the interview which took place between yourself, Dr. Morgan and representatives of the Joint International Committee which is charged with the responsibility of administering the International Solidarity Fund, I desire to confirm the intimation which was then given that a further sum of £1,000 would be allocated to the expenses of the British Medical Unit sent out under the auspices of your Committee.
So far the actual amounts you have received from the Fund are an initial amount of £250, plus accounts totalling approximately £1,100 which were paid by the Committee in Paris in connection with the further equipment of the Unit and the maintenance of the personnel whilst in Paris. This makes a total of approximately £1,350.
