Dear Mr. Jeger,
GRANT.
With further reference to your letter of 20th January asking us to send the remaining �500 of the �1,000 which was allotted to your Committee, as set out in my letter of 11th November last to Dr. Brook, if you will refer to that communication it is made clear that the allocation was for the expenses of the British Medical Unit sent out under the auspices of your Committee. Reference was also made in the penultimate paragraph to the procedure in regard to the disbursement of the money being the same as in the previous case.
The procedure is that set out in my letter to Dr. Brook of 24th August and which I hope will be in your possession. I will, however, repeat the first two paragraphs of that letter:-
"In confirmation of the telegram which I sent on Saturday I desire to state that �1,000 has been allocated by the International Solidarity Fund
