Dear Mr. Winstanley, POTATOES FOR SPAIN. Many thanks for your letter of the 4th January. Confirming my telephone communication this morning with Mr. Topping, I would be glad if you would proceed to order from the Potato Board 750 tons of potatoes, for which you quote 45/8 per ton, packed in new bags and c.i.f. to Rouen. I understand that seven days are required for the delivery of bags, but I trust you will do everything possible, owing to the present conditions in Spain, to speed up delivery. Will you please consign the goods to Senor Santiago in the usual way. Yours sincerely, Assistant Secretary.
