In a report closed on 1st December, 1933, the I.F.T.U. declare that the total sum collected by its affiliated and associated organisations from the outbreak of the rebellion may be conservatively estimated at 79,500,000 French francs. In these figures the British contribution, apart from Basque Children's Relief and the M.F.G.B. contribution is given at 14¼ million francs. £79,014 at present rates, cf. with £92,607, our approximate figure at 3 December, less £6,459, their figure for Basque relief = error of 9.1%.
