Committee of International Solidarity Constituted in Madrid.

"With a view to co-ordinating the distribution of all foodstuffs, clothing, medical supplies and funds collected abroad for the Spanish anti-Fascists, the Committee of International Solidarity, to which all the organisations belonging to the People's Front have given their most enthusiastic support, has been constituted in Madrid.
This Committee will be in communication with the Popular Concentration for Assistance to the Spanish People (Concentracion Popular de Ayuda al Pueblo Espanol), with headquarters in Paris, in order to direct the acquisition abroad of the articles most necessary for our country and, at the same time to determine the form in which the donations received are to be distributed among the Spanish provinces.
The Committee of International Solidarity has appointed from among its members the following Executive Committee :-
President, Fermin Solozabal, for the National Council of the Republican Left; Secretary, Esteban Vega, for the Executive Committee of the International Red Aid; Treasurer, Manuel Lois, for the Executive Committee of the General Union of Workers.
The seat of the Committee is at No.9, Avenida de Eduardo Dato, Madrid.
