Dear Mr. Lancaster,
RAINCOATS FOR SPAIN.
I have your letter of 18th instant, and in the first place desire to thank you for your great help in letting me have particulars in regard to raincoats.
The samples have arrived this morning and are very satisfactory. Very few women's garments are required, and consequently we will only take those ladies' garments as sample "A" which can be supplied from stock. The order will therefore be as follows:
Gents' Double Texture Coat: double breasted, with belt and fleecy lined. I should be glad if you would increase this order by 2,000, making a total of 5,000 coats - all at a price of 5/6 each.
Ladies' Coat sample "A": We should like to take the 150 garments of this quality which can be supplied from stock, at a cost of 5/- each.
One of the principal difficulties in regard to this matter is the time to be taken for the completion
