TRADES UNION CONGRESS GENERAL COUNCIL.
From A. E. CARTHY
To Mr. H. V. TEWSON
Date 25th October, 1938.
HELP FOR SPAIN.
The C.G.T. Spain representatives are coming to London either on 8th or 10th November, in the afternoon, and they want to have a meeting with you, Mr. Hallsworth, and Mr. Middleton or someone else of the Labour Party with regard to aid for Spain.
Will those days be free to you, at, say, 2.30 p.m.?
Mr. Bolton will be ringing from Burlington House this afternoon to learn when you are free on those two dates.
The 10th is convenient to both Mr. Tewson & Mr. Middleton.
