We beg to confirm the interview which our Mr. Thompson had with you, during which he mentioned the supply of clothing for shipment to Spain.
We enclose herewith full particulars of the clearing lines which Mr. Thompson offered to you yesterday, for your further consideration. If it be that you are interested in any of the items offered and desire to see samples, we shall be only too pleased to forward same for your inspection.
As these articles do not cover a full range of clothing for Women and Children, we beg to put forward to you a suggestion that we make offers to you of our regular trading lines in underwear and outer wear, as we are convinced that there will be many lines suitable for the purpose you have in mind at very attractive prices.
Also, if you decide to forward a consignment of clothing, and will let us have a full list of the items desired, we shall be only too pleased to make enquiries of our various depots, and the manufacturers in the Midlands with whom we are in close touch, with a view to obtaining clearing lines at special prices. You will, of course, realise that we can hardly make a search for clearing lines unless it be that we have
