GOODS FOR SPAIN.
In accordance with our practise of communicating with Mr. Schevenels when supplies of goods are leaving this country for Spain I am writing to inform you in Mr. Schevenel's absence that two British ships are leaving this country during the present week as follows:-
S.S. PELAYO leaves Liverpool for Valencia on January 21st, with the following goods consigned to Carlos Hermandez, UGT, Salvador Segui 5, Valencia:-
15 tons of corned beef, 100 bales (5 tons) dried cod, 5 tons biscuits.
S.S. CARPIO leaves London for Valencia on January 21st (sailing delayed from January 19th) with the following goods consigned to Carlos Hernandez:-
275 tons of sugar, 4 tons of jam, 4 tons of bacon, 50 cases of eggs, 100 cases full cream unsweetened evaporated milk, 5 tons full cream milk unsweetened.
