Dear Mr. Allen, INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY FUND I thank you for your letter of the 29th September, from which I am very pleased to note that it has been decided by your District Council that an effort should be made amongst the Scottish branches to encourage the collection of funds for the relief of distress in Spain. In accordance with your request, I am enclosing four dozen collecting sheets which I have registered in your name. I shall be glad if you will kindly keep a record of the names of the persons to whom you issue sheets and make arrangements for all sheets to be returned to you. Then, if you will forward all sheets to me I shall be able to keep check on every sheet issued from this office.
