Mr. E. Winstanley,
The Co-operative Wholesale Society Ltd.,
1, Balloon Street,
MANCHESTER.
Dear Mr. Winstanley,
SANDALS FOR SPAIN.
Referring to our conversation on Friday last in regard to the above matter I should be glad if you could complete an order as early as possible for 5,600 pairs of sandals.
It is difficult to talk in sizes, but I am appending quantities which I think would best meet requirements for the various ages.
I should be glad to learn when you feel delivery could take place and, of course, you will send at the same time the 300 dozen socks which are already ordered.
If the sandals have to be made I would suggest that consideration might be given to the present tendency for the sandals to chafe the heels.
Yours sincerely,
Assistant Secretary.
List.
P.S. Please consign to Santiago by same method as before.
