Dear Sirs,
We beg to make further reference to our letter of yesterday's date, relative to your enquiry of the 11th instant, in respect of goods for despatch to Spain. The only prices you now require are for the children's Sandals, and we are able to offer you a suitable line at the price of 2/0d per pair. A sample of this Shoe is being sent forward to you under separate cover so that you may be able to see exactly what we are offering. This is the type of Sandal we discussed with Sr. Santiago and Mrs. Adams when they were recently in Manchester, and we believe it should be satisfactory for your purpose.
We can deliver any quantity up to 700 immediately, and we await your instructions respecting same in due course. We can also effect prompt delivery of the remaining goods mentioned in your letter of the 11th instant, but before taking any action will await your instructions.
In regard to shipment, we would suggest that it would be most advantageous to send the goods forward on one of our own boats, which sail each Wednesday from Garston to Rouen, and from that point arrangements can either be made with our friends the French C.W.S. or the International Solidarity Fund at Paris, for delivery to be effected to Cerbere, with the exception of course, of the Milk, for which we are quoting a price delivered Cerbere.
