Dear Comrade Tewson,
FOOD FOR SPAIN
I thank you for your letter of the 28th May and for helping us to cash your cheque for £2000.
When sending you the telegram, the goods had already been bought and forwarded, and it was only the payment which had to be made and which was delayed by the Paris bank's statement that the cheque could not be paid before one week's time.
Anyway, everything has been arranged now, and I thank you again for your prompt assistance.
Yours fraternally,
G. Stolz,
Assistant Secretary.
