Dear Mr. Tewson,
The Secretary has spoken to Schevenels re a shipment of food to Spain, and Schevenels is arranging with his staff in Paris to purchase and despatch a consignment of beans, sausage, dried cod etc. Will you therefore arrange to send to the I.F.T.U. in Paris a cheque for £2000 so that they can get get on with the job.
Will you please tell Herbert Tracey that the Secretary agrees to his proposal to use the presidential address as an article for "Labour".
Herbert also mentions a write-up of the meeting to appear under the name of Hicks and/or Gibson. I'll prepare about 1000 - 1200 words on this, but we won't be back in the office until the 25th.
