Dear Mr. Conley,
CLOTHING FOR SPAIN.
Referring to the telephone message from your office in regard to the despatch of the quantities of clothing which you have been able to secure for Spain, in the first place I should like to compliment you on the success which you have so far achieved.
We are in touch with the Spanish Consulate, and we stall be given adequate notice of the sailing of the next boat. I would suggest that you proceed with the packing of the clothing in bales, and that the stencil markings should be:
C.H.,
U.G.T.,
Selvador Segui 5,
Valencia.

The initials "C.H." stand for C. Hermandez, who is acting as the secretary of the Spanish
