The Trades Union Congress General Council,
We have received your message transmitted to us this afternoon through the medium of our London Branch, relative to Bill of Lading in connection with shipment of Foodstuffs we are effecting on your behalf to Barcelona via Le Havre. In accordance with your wishes, we are having this document made out in duplicate in the name of M. Edouard Aget, 101 Boulevard Strasbourg, Le Havre, first original will be sent forward by carrying steamer, with stamped copy to you as early as possible.
In connection with insurance, we have to inform you that the war risk clause on goods transported by land is no longer operative. Consequently, we have effected full marine insurance including war risks whilst the consignment is in transit from London to Le Havre, but from Le Havre to the Spanish Frontier the consignment will be subject only to the ordinary risks excluding war. The premium will be 5/3%.
