INTERNATIONAL.
26th January 1938.
Mr. W. Schevenels,
International Federation of Trade Unions,
9, Avenue D'Orsay,
PARIS. VII.
Dear Comrade Schevenels,
FOOD FOR SPAIN.
Further to our telephone conversation yesterday, and your letter of the 24th instant, we have arranged with the C.W.S. for the goods as enumerated in our letter of the 21st instant to be consigned to Edouard Aget, 101, Boulevard Strasbourg, Le Havre. We shall be glad if you will be good enough to communicate with M. Aget, informing him exactly where the goods are to be sent.
In order to save any delay, we have arranged with the C.W.S. that the Bills of Lading will be forwarded direct to M. Aget.
We are not yet in a position to inform you of the name of the boat on which the goods are to be sent, or the date of sailing, but as soon as we hear from the C.W.S. on these points I will get into touch with you.
Yours sincerely,
Assistant Secretary.
P.S. As stated to you on the telephone, we are effecting insurance of the goods against all risks from London to the Spanish frontier.
