Clothing for Basque Children.
Referring to your letter of the 17th instant, enclosing accounts, as under:
13th Novr. 1937 No.39/8928 3½ doz. Knickers £1.11.10.

and suggesting that they might be met out of the grant by the C.W.S. given for the assistance of the Basque Children, we are informed by our Head Office at Manchester that the invoices concerned have been discharged with other items by the Basque Children's Committee, of 53 Marsham Street, London, S.W.1., by cheque £36. 1. 7d on the 14th instant. In the circumstance we are returning the invoices herewith.
For your information, and at your request, we beg to enclose particulars of goods supplied to the Basque Children's Camp out of the C.W.S. Grant, which amount to £161. 14. 8d, so that there is still roughly £88 to spend.
