THE WORKING CLASS SAN HAVE NO OTHER ARMY THAN THE RED ARMY IN THE SERVICE OF THE REVOLUTION
In Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia the military facist rising was quelled by the swift reaction of the working masses. It was not a purely spontaneous reaction as has often been supposed; there was a big spontaneous upheval of the masses as in any truly popular revolutionary movement, but the iniative and conscious direction of the struggle come from the respective parties and organizations of the working class.
