INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY FUND.
The position of the above Fund up to Monday last, 5th July is as follows:
Amount raised in Gt. Britain + £37,422. 7. 10½.
Remittances from America  7,190. 5. 0.
Remittances from South Africa  385. 0. 0.
+ This figure includes £4,463 specifically ear-marked for the maintenance of Basque children in this country.
In addition to these amounts, the National Union of Boot & Shoe Operatives have given £250  worth of boots and shoes for the children, the Rossendale Union of Boot, Shoe & Slipper Operatives £50 worth of boots and shoes, and the National Union of Tailors & Garment Workers garments to the value of nearly £2,000.- this latter for Spain.
Arrangements are being made to send to Gijon £250 worth of food on the SS."Sil", and the SS."Marian Mollan" The latter boat is sailing to-night, but we are not yet in possession of the date of sailing of the SS."Sil".
We are now completing our Annual Report to Congress, and desire to give the latest figures in connection with the International Solidarity Fund. Could you please let me
