Further to correspondence exchanged between us relative to the shipment of Foodstuffs by the s.s. "Backworth" from Immingham to Bilbao, we have to inform you that demurrage charges to the extent of £10.10.0 have been incurred in respect of the 150 tons Sugar.
We are giving you herewith for your information copy of a letter received from the brokers, which you will doubtless find of interest.
When the complete charges for dock dues, etc., are to hand, we will include this present amount in our invoice, which we hope will have your approval.
