Dear Mr. Tewson,
JESUS & JULIAN HICKMAN URRUTIA.
I have not been idle since I last wrote. I put the candidature of these two people forward to another firm for whose administration I am responsible but I am afraid that the technical people say that they really have no vacancy at the present time. The fact of the matter is that in businesses such as ours technical work under wartime conditions tends to diminish rather than increase resulting in a cutting down rather than an increase in staff, however, if I can do more to help you please do not fail to let me know.
Yours sincerely,
Dick Stokes.
