Dear Senor Alvaro,
ASSISTANCE.
You will probably have thought that we have entirely overlooked the letter signed by yourself and a number of your colleagues which was sent some weeks ago. This is not the case, however, as we have been making enquiries as to how some assistance could be rendered.
Whilst it has not been possible to deal with the problem fully we have secured certain articles cf clothing from members of our staff which we hope will be helpful, and I am sending the parcel by the same post as this letter. We hope that the contents will prove useful and if it is possible for us to send a further parcel later will do so.
With best wishes.
Yours sincerely,
Assistant Secretary.
