I am in receipt of yours of the 28th instant referring to our previous correspondence on the above subject and the decision of our Executive Council.
I am enclosing for your information copy of a letter I addressed to the Board of Trade and copy of their reply, which doubtless will be of interest to you.
I may say that we are using pressure on the Board of Trade and hope in the very near future that the Spanish seamen in this country may be made use of.
