P.T.O.
Alderman Harry Midgley. J.P.
19 Garfield Chambers, Belfast.
Dear Mr Tewson,
25th August, 1941
Mrs Graham, 2, Merkland St, Belfast, has called with me regarding her husband, Harry Graham, who, she has reason to believe, was killed in Spain whilst serving with the Government Forces.
Mrs Graham was not able to give me any information as to when he joined, or the date when he was killed. From her inability to supply any details I formed the opinion that her husband had not been living at home when he joined the Spanish Army or the International Brigade.
If you can get any information I shall be obliged.
With kind regards.
Yours fraternally
Harry Midgley
P.S. Mr. Graham was a "Fitter" by trade. H.M.
