LETTER FROM UNION GENERAL DE TRABAJADORES DE ESPAÑA
(Spanish T.U.C.)
Salvador Seguí,
5-Valencia.
28th January, 1937.
Dear Comrades,
Our object in writing to you is to inform you that we have today sent to you by registered printed matter post 1,000 copies of the first poster, issued in French by our Spanish U.G.T., for the purpose of acquainting your National Trade Union Centre, which is affiliated to the I.F.T.U., as well as your constituent bodies, members of the liberal professions, the workers of your country, and all opponents of Fascism, the work which the UGT is performing in Spain in its fight against the Fascist revolt which is raging in our country.
We shall be very much obliged if you will give the greatest publicity possible to the posters in question, and if it puts you to any expense, kindly let us know so that we can immediately reimburse you.
Further, we wish to inform you that we shall have much pleasure in sending you, in successive consignments, other specimens of the posters which we are preparing.
In the name of the Executive Commission, we take this opportunity of reciprocating your good wishes and those of the anti-Fascist cause.
(Signed) P. Tomás.
Assistant Secretary.
