Dear Mr. Harries,
Spanish Situation
I enclose herewith a copy of a letter that I have written to Mr. Herbert Morrison, together with a copy of his reply.
I should be glad if you would let me have the point of view of Transport House as to the possibilities of organising an Albert Hall meeting. I know that we disagreed with such a gathering in connection with the Means Test, but I feel that on the Spanish Situation we could fill the Hall and such a meeting would be of immense value to London and throughout the country.
My Executive meets on the 24th and the London Labour Party meets on the 30th, so I should be glad if I could have a reply before the 24th.
Yours sincerely,
Alfred M. Wall
