Dear Walter,
I hope you have returned from your early New Year's labours refreshed. Shall be pleased to have a chat with you at an early date, to see what can be done further to help forward the Cause.
I am writing you particularly to say that I am addressing a meeting in conjunction with Dai Grenfell next Monday, the 11th., in the Memorial Hall, under the auspices of the London Trades Council.
I thought when you were giving a short report as to what Comrade Dai Grenfell said in relation to the Medical Units in Spain, and his testimony to the Scottish Unit, I heard you say that we were no longer working with the British Unit. I suppose I ought to have known it, but I missed this and certainly don't know it. I shall, therefore, be glad if you will arrange to send me on any information in regard to it, in case I am questioned at the Memorial Hall Meeting.
Furthermore, if there are any facts which you think would be useful to put over, more particularly in regard to the contribution of the British Labour and Trade Union Movement, and the Labour and Socialist International, I shall be pleased to have them. I cannot expect you to give me the notes of the speeches you want to make yourself or those little tit-bits you like to get over, but any general information I shall be
