AMSTERDAM. W., HOLLAND
VONDELSTRAAT 61
7 December 1936
Mr. Walter Citrine, General Secretary, The Trades Union Congress General Council, London.
Dear Walter,
In further reply to yours of the 30th, and with reference to the few words we exchanged on the occasion of the recent meeting in Paris, I will try to got the further information, for which you ask about the transport of war materials to the Spanish rebels. You must bear in mind, however, that although the source of the information is a reliable one, it is obtained illegally, and in such cases one cannot expect the fullness and precision which one would insist on in more normal circumstances. I hope, however, to obtain the data for you, but it may take some time, as my informants may not turn up again for another few weeks.
In the meantime, however, I enclose another similar report, which this time gives the particulars for which you ask.
Yours fraternally
Edo Fimmen
