Many thousands of Spanish children still cower in terror and hunger amidst the ruins of their homes.
Our work of Mercy and Relief is not ended.
Food and clothing and medical necessities are still urgently needed in Spain.
Since our Relief Work began, nearly £118,000 has been raised through the agency of the International Solidarity Fund, and spent on Food, Clothing, Medical Supplies and Lorries - used not only for the transport of supplies but also for the conveyance of wounded and refugees.
Medical services have been established, including the Base Hospital on the Madrid Front, and are helping to save the lives of Spain's heroic defenders.
Trade Union Branches, Trades Councils, Local Labour Parties, Women's Guilds, in fact the entire organised movement, poured contributions into the International Solidarity Fund, but its resources are nearly Exhausted.
